Shane D. Gosdis, Esq.

Shane D. Gosdis is Utah’s Ivy League Injury AttorneySM. He helps seriously injured people put their lives back together.

Shane grew up in Millcreek, Utah. He attended the University of Utah, graduating with a degree in Political Science (English minor) and graduating as a Lowell L. Bennion Service Learning Scholar. Shane then attended Cornell Law School in New York where he served on the Cornell Law Review. He also worked as an extern for Chief Judge Frederick Scullin, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

After law school, Shane took a position with the prestigious corporate law firm, Snell & Wilmer. He later took a position with the largest law firm in the world, DLA Piper. He represented some of the most powerful corporations in the world, litigating complex cases across the country, including a wide-variety of personal injury and product liability lawsuits.

Shane gave up his corporate defense practice to help seriously injured people put their lives back together. He accepted a position with a national personal injury law firm, serving as the firm’s managing attorney for the Intermountain region. In that position, he litigated complex personal injury actions across the Intermountain West, including Utah and Arizona. Shane became a passionate advocate for the seriously injured and never looked back to his corporate defense practice again.

Instead, he launched Gosdis Law to focus his practice on representing seriously injured people in Utah. He loves fighting for them against the large corporations and insurance companies he once represented in his prior life as a corporate defense attorney. Shane leverages his corporate defense background to maximize recoveries for his clients throughout Utah.
