Shane D. Gosdis is Utah’s Ivy League Injury AttorneySM. He helps seriously injured people put their lives back together.
Shane grew up in Millcreek, Utah. He attended the University of Utah, graduating with a degree in Political
Science (English minor) and graduating as a Lowell L. Bennion Service Learning Scholar. Shane then attended
Cornell Law School in New York where he served on the Cornell Law Review. He also worked as an extern for
Chief Judge Frederick Scullin, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District
of New York.
After law school, Shane took a position with the prestigious corporate law firm, Snell & Wilmer. He later
took a position with the largest law firm in the world, DLA Piper. He represented some of the most powerful
corporations in the world, litigating complex cases across the country, including a wide-variety of personal
injury and product liability lawsuits.
Shane gave up his corporate defense practice to help seriously injured people put their lives back together.
He accepted a position with a national personal injury law firm, serving as the firm’s managing attorney for the
Intermountain region. In that position, he litigated complex personal injury actions across the Intermountain
West, including Utah and Arizona. Shane became a passionate advocate for the seriously injured and never
looked back to his corporate defense practice again.
